Zeifman / Agnew Residence

The Ziefman / Agnew Residence was designed in 2007 and completed in 2009 for Stephen Ziefman and Sarah Agnew, two Toronto-based artists, teachers and writers. Once completed, they built and launched Mill Road Studio, where they teach painting, drawing and print-making courses from July 1 – September 20 on the same Port Rexton site.

A curved timber hedge defines the courtyard space but also helps to screen the existing house and lead visitors to the entry. One then enters the house into the glass link connecting existing and new spaces.
