Scott Shields Architects Inc. (“SSA”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through scottarch.ca, how we use it, and your choices. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

When you contact us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional) and your message.

When you browse the site. Like most websites, our hosting server automatically records basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used only to keep the site secure and working properly.

Fonts. The site uses Adobe Fonts. To display these fonts, your browser connects to Adobe’s servers, which may receive your IP address. See Adobe’s privacy policy.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

How we use your information

We use the information you send us only to respond to your enquiry, discuss a possible project, or consider a job application. We do not add you to a mailing list without your consent.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only as long as needed to respond and for our normal business records, and then delete them.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, such as our website host, email provider and website management partner, and only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including an encrypted (HTTPS) connection for the whole site.
